This is a turn-based dungeon crawler rogue-like that explores power as corruption

You are not limited by inventory space, item weights, or any other system. Your inability to control Power is what holds you back. Getting more items makes you stronger, at the cost of losing control over the weapons you possess. Can you find the perfect balance?


Rules and Controls:

1. Attempts to be keyboard friendly as well as compatible with mouse! Either use Z (select) and X (cancel/back) with Arrow Keys to navigate or use Mouse to click around!

2. Each weapon has a condition to be met, either looking for a specific Strike Pattern created, or some number of Strikes to be present in the Strike Pattern. Meet the condition and the weapon glows green, striking the targeted enemy on completion. Hover or focus your highlight over each weapon to see what it does. You enter Strikes with the Arrow Keys.

3. You can discard weapons by navigating to the Weapons Bar and selecting them, this helps reduce the power you hold, making things more manageable

4. Have too many powerful items and you become Defiant. The game will override your inputs with random ones. These can be a curse, or a blessing.

5. You can do more than 1 Strike Pattern per turn. Simply press Z to submit what you have, and use your remaining Strikes on another foe!

6. You can defend for free Shield only if you haven't attacked this turn

This is sort of rushed so I do apologise, I feel as if I bit off more than I could chew. Apologies for the lack of sound and polish. I also did not get to fully bug test this thing, nor do any balancing. I hope this game runs without issues! Let me know if there are bugs in the comments :)
